Some are reporting that this shows time remaining for the battery in the menu bar. One reviewer was thrilled that it brought that back in Mountain Lion. Well, in ML, if you click on the battery item in the menu bar, youll see the time remaining. What I, and others, are looking for is something that shows the time IN THE menu bar, much as it did in Snow Leopard. This doesnt seem to do that at all.
Plus, it was off-putting to have an ad for Disk Cleaner when opening it the first time. Oh, well. Onto other battery programs…
I want to be fair, however, and have raised this a star. It does give you quick access to the buried power system information about ones battery-- original capacity, current charge, maximum charge, etc. Its convenient for that, but as thats something I rarely need, I just get it from the Apple menu and go into About this Mac.
